Y'all might laugh at the question my 6 year old daughter Maura wrote a few months ago, but I think she is on to something there:). Actually, she asks one of the many types of questions that we all wonder when we think about our faith.
Whether we are 6 or 60 I think if we are honest with ourselves we all have questions about God, Heaven, Christianity, etc. and there is nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, the Christian community at large, for many years, has made it seem "un-spiritual" to have questions, reservations or even hesitations about God.
This is exactly the reason why at Liquid we designed an environment that would go against that type of mentality. SO, we offer Starting Point as an awesome place for people whether they are new to the faith, returning after some time away or just wanting to work through some of those hesitations.
Over my years at Liquid I have seen so many folks take their next step in their relationship with Jesus as part of the Starting Point experience and so this week folks I really want you to encourage you to considering being part of this awesome group.
Starting Point begins on 10.25.09 and will meet Sunday mornings during the 11:15 service. It lasts for 10 weeks and there typically are 10-12 folks in each group. Large enough to feel like you are part of something fun and small enough to easily get to know some other folks just like you.
