Well folks, it has been awesome to hear from SO many of on Facebook, Twitter, email and in person about friends/family that you have invited to Liquid this Sunday for the kick-off of Rock God.
At this point, as a Brunz community we are praying for 174 individuals. Is that awesome or what? 174 people who are special to us, who are friends and family, who YOU care enough to "be weird" with so that they might hear about Jesus.
Speaking of being weird or not, I thought I would share the email interaction I had with a buddy of mine (let's call him "Frank":) who I invited this week to church. We first spoke in person and then this is the email exchange that followed...
Hey bro - not trying to convert you at all, but thought I would pass this along to you (as we talked about on Sunday). We don't serve kool-aid or anything:), but this message series should be good times.cheers -- mike

"Frank's" response...
Not too weird, right? I just wanted to encourage each of you that people saying "no thanks" is okay and I also wanted to give an example or approach for you to use. You certainly DON'T have to do it like me, BUT if you do, feel free to use this invite-a-friend link right on our website. Just click here to use it.
Either way, let's keep praying (see specific names on the "Don't be Weird" post) for each other and for those people we are inviting. Our prayer is that something so BIG happens on Sunday that only God could get credit for it!
