For even the Son of Man did not come to be served...
Well, if Jesus didn't come to be served, but to serve then I guess that's why today's Jacket Outreach to the City of New Brunswick was such a privilege to be a part of! Long before we launch our morning services @ the Hyatt here in NB on 1.11.09 I LOVE that we just loved and served on this City.
My heart changed today for this city. I care more about the people here then I did yesterday and that is because I had the privilege of humbling myself to just serve them. Actually, to serve a portion of our society that holds a special place in God's heart.
I hope that each of you sensed God's pleasure as you served Him today -- mikey
What a phenomenal blessing to be a part of such a wonderful outreach to the people of New Brunswick. My heart of truly touched to see a long line of people waiting to receive a new coat. Amazing! My heart was deeply touched by the faces of women, children, teens, and men who were in need. I am grateful to have been given the opportunity by Liquid Church to put my faith in Jesus into action! To Him be the Glory forever. With Love in Christ, Catherine Hilton

Every week LQD Church asks its members to be the feet and hands of Christ by inviting our friends and families to church.
Once in a while LQD challenges us to do something even bigger... like the NB out reach. It was incredible!!! Over 1,000 coats, countless hot chocolate, donuts, and volunteers! The volunteer check-in actually was 10+ deep at each shift change, as each volunteer, regardless of whether they where setting up the coat racks, handing out coats, writing notes, or walking the streets received a LQD scarf. During the scarf presentation you could feel Christ love flowing from the staff, filling each volunteer to overflow into their respective duties. It was incredible to serve on Saturday. Yet, it would not be possible without the skills of NB office who where able to organize the hundreds of volunteers into action, directing all those hands and feet.
