Okay folks, gonna just call it out that I was totally WRONG about the blog thing. Y'all are so nice and based upon some really generous and thoughtful feedback, I am going to keep blogging it. Promise me that if it ever gets boring for you that you will let me know!!! Deal?

With that in mind, I literally could NOT help but write about yesterday's Baptism! It's hard to put into words what happened yesterday here in the Brunz (and all over Liquid actually:). All those incredible stories about how God has been, and is, changing peoples hearts was just freakin' amazing. If you want to check out some of the pics from Sunday's Baptisms click here!

We laughed, we cried, but most importantly we were drawn to worship. We were drawn to worship a living God with whom we have a personal, life-giving relationship.  Chris Tomlin wrote a song that SO resonates with my heart today. The chorus to "How can I Keep from Singing" goes like this...

How can I keep from singing Your praise, How can I ever say enough

How amazing is Your love, How can I keep from shouting Your name

I know I am loved by the King And it makes my heart want to sing

And literally that is what I felt each of us felt yesterday as we watched and listened to those who are part of the Brunz family pouring out their hearts to Jesus. How could we keep from singing His name after something like that?

I would be remiss though if I didn't mention ALL the folks that worked so hard to make yesterday such a great experience. Actually, we put together a quick video from the Brunz Team to express our deep gratitude. Thanks for being part of something much bigger than yourselves (actually, than all of us:)...

I'm sorry we didn't do it sooner folks, but this week marks the final days of "This Blog's For You." Pastor Tom (TK lounge is what I call him:) & I admitted to each other that we have to embrace new ways to connect with folks during the week than old school bloggin'...

Lederhosen, Laughs & Liquidwater...

A HUGE thanks to those of you who were able to join us last Friday evening for our first ever OKTOBERFEST! My sincere apologies to each of you for the Lederhosen:) You will be happy to know the costumes have been returned to the rental store and Pastor Tom and I are back to some regular street clothes...

One of the highlights of the evening was hearing from Marty & Donna Singer (MoTown peep) who shared his personal testimony about our Upcoming Fall Baptism's on 11.22.09. You will hear part of Marty's story at the end of this video below and if you you want to understand why we feel Baptism is important pay close attention to his words (and then get ready to click here and sign-up your self:)...

One of the other amazing things happening here at Liquid is what God is doing amongst us as we bring clean water to folks in Africa. The latest is Liquidwater.com. It's Liquid Church's own non-profit specifically designed to invite "non-churched" folks to our God inspired vision to serve folks who could never re-pay us!

Avaya quickly hopped on the band wagon for our Dirty Water campaign. Check out Avaya's Extreme Makeover Communication Bus pulling up to the Liquid office to present Liquidwater.com with their support...

We couldn't be more excited about what God is doing here at Liquid and we are so thankful that God is leading folks (like many of you) to be part of the spiritual family here. I was reminded this past Friday during the Oktoberfest that I am privileged to be a part of God's family here at Liquid. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of something much bigger than myself...

Oktoberfest! Not just for Quid members...

That's right!  A few folks are NOT sure if our first ever Oktoberfest this Friday evening (10/23 @ 7pm) at the Brunz Hyatt is for members only and it's totally not. Oktoberfest is for everybody at Liquid. Whether you are a member, thinking about it or new to the scene.

Over the years we have received some great feedback from our peeps that our membership desserts should be for everybody; not just for those interested OR not just for members, but for everybody! That's right! Even for the people out in the streets...
